Inclusive Wedding at Ashton Gardens | Moira +Taylor

As a wedding photographer, I've had the privilege of capturing countless love stories, each one as unique and beautiful as the next. But there was something truly special about Moira and Taylor’s wedding at Ashton Gardens – an inclusive celebration that broke tradition and embraced love in all its forms.

Moira and Taylor chose to get ready together, and Moira breaking tradition from the start she chose to wear a Black Bridal Gown, their laughter and excitement filling the air as they helped each other dress for their big day. It was a refreshing departure from the traditional separation of the bride and groom before the ceremony, a symbolic gesture of their partnership and equality.

As I wandered through Ashton Gardens, I couldn't help but notice the absence of a traditional wedding party. Instead, Moira and Taylor had chosen to surround themselves with their closest friends, regardless of gender. It was a beautiful reflection of their inclusive values and the deep connections they shared with those who mattered most to them.

During the ceremony, there were no bridesmaids or groomsmen – just a group of friends standing by Moira and Taylor's side, supporting them as they exchanged vows and pledged their love to each other. And when it came time for the bouquet toss, there was no distinction between genders. Instead of the traditional toss to just the girls, Moira and Taylor opted for a coed bouquet toss, inviting everyone to participate in the fun.

It was a small gesture, but it spoke volumes about the kind of love and acceptance that defined Moira and Taylor’s relationship. Love knows no boundaries – it transcends gender, tradition, and expectation.

As I captured each moment of their wedding day – from the heartfelt vows to the joyous celebration that followed – I couldn't help but feel inspired by the love that filled the air. Moira and Taylor’s wedding was a reminder that love is love, and that true happiness lies in embracing the uniqueness of each individual journey.

As I packed up my camera at the end of the night, I felt grateful to have been a part of such a meaningful celebration. Moira and Taylor’s wedding was more than just a union of two people – it was a testament to the power of love to break down barriers and bring people together in unity and acceptance. As I drove away from Ashton Gardens, I carried with me the memory of a day filled with love, laughter, and the promise of a future built on equality and inclusivity.
